Zenith scopes offer several features in addition to short length – moving through the full magnification range only needs a half-turn of the adjuster ring and eye relief is a comfortable 3½” (90mm). They are fitted with 'Posicon' elevation and windage turrets that give a visual display of how much reticle adjustment has been used. This allows the scope to be mounted on the rifle so that the maximum amount of adjustment is available. Dial settings are easily recorded with a silver ring on the turret for reliable return to zero.

The Schmidt & Bender electronic FlashDot reticle uses a central illuminated red-dot, surrounded by conventional reticle 'arms'. The FlashDot is unique in that it disappears completely from the sight picture when switched off, thereby combining the aiming speed and parallax free operation of dot type scopes with the ability to take measured precise aim with conventional reticles. Brightness is controlled through a turret with 11 settings ensuring the dot is clearly visible in any light condition for day and night use. An intermediate 'off' position is provided between each setting allowing it to be turned on and off instantly, while keeping the turret adjacent to the desired value. If the FlashDot is accidentally left illuminated, the scope switches itself off after six hours to conserve battery life.
